I have enjoyed Qonnections in the past as Qlik does a fantastic job of hosting such a major event every year in May.

That said, even though it is relatively easy for anyone to start developing a QlikView or Qlik Sense application, it takes tremendous effort for you to become a skilled QlikView developer.

Until 2014, most newbie QlikView developers struggled to walk on the tight rope, so to speak, to master this incredibly powerful tool.

Enter Qlik Dev Group.  Jason Michealides, Deepak Vadithala and Matt Crowther started Qlik Dev Group in London to help Qlik developers master QlikView and Qlik Sense.

Claudia and I run Qlik Dev Group in Atlanta. I remember meeting in a small library room just a short year ago with dozen donuts and half a dozen enthusiastic developers.

Fast forward a year, we have grown Altanta Qlik dev group to invite the likes of Brian Munz, Alexander Karlsson and Speros Kokenes to speak at the recent event on January 26.

Both Brian Munz and Alexander Karlsson enlightened us  through the past, present, and future of web development and engineering.

Using demos, examples, and MEMES, we can explore this growing world as we view the QIX platform as a product in its own right.

It was incredibly informative to listen to these A-List experts as they gave us glimpse of the future of Qlik ecosystem.
